Humanity Faculty Students in specialty 050504- journalism of Atyrau State University after Kh. Dosmukhamedov have completed training courses in “Ecojournalism” (16 hours) and “Photojournalism” (24 hours). This training is an approbation of special courses, worked out by experienced Kazakh journalist Konstantin Yudin, a representative of social union “Karaganda ecological museum” within the framework of social fund activity “Desenta” (Pavlodar city), which carrying out the project “Development of independent mass media by means of qualified business journalists formation”. Representatives of 8 cities of Kazakhstan take part in this project, Atyrau coordination is social union “Batys-info”. Project took off in January, 2009, during the first year research work, questionnaire, interviewing have been done,  special courses have been worked out, which now undergo approbation in higher educational establishments of our country. Students are  fulfilling tasks, with great enthusiasm, getting useful theoretical information, mastering practical skills  which, undoubtedly, will be of great help in their further practical activity.

 Students of Physics, Mathematics and information Technologies  Faculty demonstrated good results at the Republican Olympiad  organized  by the Ministry of education  of KZ.

 5 B010900- Mathematics competed with 24 students from 12 Higher educational Institution of KZ and awarded with a diploma  of third class degree at the mathematical Olympiad held at Kokshetau   state University named after Sh. Ualikhanov  on 15-16 march, 2010. (supervisor of studies –the Head of the chair Mathematical analysis, c.p.s associate professor G.Zh.Turzhigiteva )

      Third –year students  G. Baimukhanova , G.Zhumagalieva , N. Keldibaeva in specialty 5 B 011000 –Physics, took the second place at the Olypiad in Physics, held on 29-30 March, 2010 at Zhetysu State University named after I. Zhansugurov ( supervisor of studies- deputy associate professor, c.ch.c.  A. Amangosova). At the Olypiad in Information technologies  held at the same University the first year student A. Arstanbaev was rewarded with a diploma( supervisor of studies – E. Eldarova, lecturer)

             Physics, mathematics and computer technology faculty students have highly-attained achievements. For example as Abzal Duysupov has got for a place to World Cup kick-boxing competition. At the end of March Kazakhstan Cup Competition were held in Astana. As the winners of competition got the right to participate in World Cup, the most skillful and strong sportsmen took part in it. Our first-year student won the master at sport Yeldar Baurzhanuly with score 2:3, and won the second place.

Atyrau state Kh. Dosmukhamedov University students as Abzal Duysupov, Isatai Kismetov, Aibek Ishanov are going participate in kick-boxing competition devoted 65 anniversary of Great Patriotic War, which will held from april 29 till 1^st May 2010 in Petropavlovsk. From the 4^th of May A. Duysupov and Zhakiya Kuanov will participate in sport training in Semei, then in Seigat, Hungary. Kazakhstany honoured trainers as S. Kassangaliev, K. Kossakov, D. Duysupov are the trainers of these promising sportsmen. Sportsmen and trainers are thankful for charity and financial support till Atyrau state  Kh. Dosmukhamedov University Rector professor Kazmaganbetov A. G., regional government on Tourism and Sport.

On April, 28-29, 2009 National Academy of education named after Y.Altynsarina under the direction of the Ministry of Education and Science of Republic Kazakhstan spends republic scientific – conference on base of Atyrau State University named after Kh.Dosmuhamedova on a theme: « Scientific - methodical problems of introduction of a national - cultural heritage in the content of education». Scientists, teachers of higher educational institutions of the country, experts of the republican, regional organizations of education, regional institutes of improvement of professional skill of teachers, heads of the state museums, archives will take part in work of conference. During conference work of a national school – gymnasium school № 13 will be submitted Atyrau on propagation of national spiritual - cultural values, the exhibition about work of Small Academy of Arts is organized an introduction of a national - cultural heritage in the contents of education. For participants of conference will be organized a trip to the historical and cultural museum Sarayshik.
